So Keat finally popped over and bought the PSP that he wanted, yah. He took it out of hs bag and proudly showed it off to me today. There was really much to show off, it being a shiny new gadget and all (I love me a shiny new gadget. Yes, magpie-syndrome, much?)
When he booted the thing up and played this game for me to see, I expired from the C-U-T-E.
Really!
The game is called LocoRoco and it's abso-positively the most adorable game you've ever seen.
Bunny in cups has nothing on it.
If
It starts with this medium-sized yellow blob thing...

That you have to move and make it eat berries to get to the next level. Elementary stuff. I like elementary stuff. Elementary stuff is do-able.
You move it by pressing these two levers at the side of the player to tilt the world and bump the locoroco along. The tilting idea is muy-cool. Those crazy, crazy Japanese. They can think of anything.
As it goes along, it gets bigger and bigger. When it gets stuck, you can split 'em like animal cells to get through tight spots.

To top it all off...
They sing at the end of each level...

Big yellow singing blobs have robbed me of speech. I love 'em to bits.
If you read the Wikipage, the lyrics for their songs are absolute rubbish,
(e.g pacchonbo- mo-inoinoi chakaretapatton pankorakettonto-n
no-ra churere-rotton poraporapetton pu-rorattantan)
but those sneaky game creators know that if they can make people like adorable yellow blobs, gamers are putty in their hands.
